BitFuFu’s hosted hashrate rises in January as self-mining capacity stays flat

Bitcoin mining firm BitFuFu (NASDAQ: FUFU) released its January operational update Thursday, reporting a 22% increase in bitcoin production over the month.

The cloud mining and self-mining operator produced 229 BTC during the month, up from 188 BTC in December, producing 183 of this BTC through its cloud mining operations and 46 BTC via self-mining. BitFuFu’s managed hashrate climbed to 29.6 EH/s in January, a 13.4% increase from the previous month.

Third-party and hosting customers contributed 25.9 EH/s to BitFuFu’s total hashrate, while its self-owned capacity held steady at 3.7 EH/s. The company’s year-over-year hashrate growth reached 46.5%.

BitFuFu’s Fleet efficiency improved to 17.5 J/TH from 18.3 J/TH in December, and its total power capacity grew to 520 MW, an 8.8% rise from the prior month.

BitFuFu increased its total bitcoin holdings to 1,796 BTC as of January 31, adding 16 BTC since the end of 2025. The holdings figure includes 252 BTC pledged for loans and payables.
