CleanSpark mines 657 Bitcoin in August, down 2% from July

CleanSpark’s (NASDAQ: CLSK) reported in its August update that it produced 657 BTC last month, up 38% from the 478 BTC mined in August 2024 but down 2.1% from July’s 671 BTC. CleanSpark’s average daily production was 21.20 BTC.

CleanSpark added 124 BTC to its treasury in August, bringing its total holdings to 12,827 BTC, a 70% increase from the 7,558 BTC it held a year ago and a 1.0% gain from July’s 12,703 BTC. 

CleanSpark’s operational hashrate remained at 50.0 EH/s, while its average operating hashrate climbed to 43.3 EH/s, up 3.3% month-over-month and 103% year-over-year. CleanSpark’s peak fleet efficiency in August was 16.07 J/Th with 242,222 miners deployed. 

CleanSpark maintained 1.03 GW of contracted power and utilized 808 MW across its sites. The company recently underwent a change in leadership with the resignation of former CEO Zach Bradford.

At time of publication, CLSK is up 1.8% from yesterday’s close.
