Bitcoin miner CleanSpark (NASDAQ: CLSK) mined 573 Bitcoin in January while operating 50 EH/s of Bitcoin mining units, according to a company release Wednesday. Daily production average about 18.5 BTC over the month, despite negative weather impacting bitcoin mining facilities across North America.
CleanSpark currently utilizes 808 MW of power to support its mining fleet. The total contracted power now stands at 1.8 GW following the recent agreements.
CleanSpark’s treasury held 13,513 BTC as of January 31. Management sold roughly 158 bitcoin during the month to generate operational capital, for a total of $14.55 million. The average sale price was approximately $91,752 per bitcoin.
For its mining fleet, output peaked at 21.77 bitcoin in a single day during the period. The fleet maintained an efficiency of 16.07 J/TH and an average operational hashrate of 42.6 EH/s.
Management also noted its recent acquisition of 300 MW of new capacity for an AI expansion in Brazoria County, Texas. The campus will eventually scale to 600 MW, the team said.
