The site sits on a major regional fiber backbone and lies adjacent to natural gas pipelines, offering the flexibility to incorporate behind-the-meter generation if needed. CleanSpark closed the transaction with a mix of cash and common stock, with additional cash payments contingent on post-closing milestones.
CleanSpark has already begun developing the site and expects to have over 200 MW online in H2 2027.
Yesterday, CleanSpark announced that it was collaborating with Submer to evaluate joint development of gigawatt-scale AI campuses across the United States.
