Developed in partnership with tokenization specialist Dinari, the index will comprise 15 cryptocurrencies drawn from the S&P Cryptocurrency Broad Digital Market Index alongside 35 companies spanning crypto operations, infrastructure, financial services, blockchain applications and related technologies. Dinari will also issue a tokenized version of the index—known as “dShares”—to enable on-chain investment in the benchmark.
The S&P Digital Markets 50 will join S&P DJI’s existing digital asset suite, which includes the S&P Cryptocurrency Indices and S&P Digital Market Indices, offering investors a standardized measure of performance across both sides of the crypto ecosystem.
