In an 8-K filed on September 2, Strategy (NASDAQ: MSTR) announced that it raised the annual dividend rate on its Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock (STRC) from 9.00% to 10.00%.
The company’s board also declared cash dividends payable September, 30 to holders of record as of September 15, 2025, across all its preferred‐stock series:
- STRF (10.00% Series A Perpetual Strife Preferred Stock): $2.50 per share for the quarter ending September 30, 2025
- STRC (Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock): $0.833 per share for the month ending September 30, 2025 (this is equivalent to a 10% annual rate on the $100 stated amount)
- STRK (8.00% Series A Perpetual Strike Preferred Stock): $2.00 per share for the quarter ending September 30, 2025
- STRD (10.00% Series A Perpetual Stride Preferred Stock): $3.056 per share for the quarter ending September 30, 2025; amount includes accrual from the initial issuance date of June 10, 2025
The dividend adjustment on STRC marks the first increase since its massively oversubscribed initial offering in July. STRC is designed to trade close to its stated amount of $100. When the price is below this number, Strategy intends to increase the dividend to incentivize buyers. The company recently published guidance on how the dividend will be managed each month based on STRC’s five-day VWAP.
