Aug 11, 2025

CleanSpark announced that the company has appointed Co-Founder and Executive Chairman Matt Schultz as President and CEO following the resignation of Zachary Bradford from both roles.

Schultz previously served as CEO from its founding in 2014 until 2019. Bradford, who led the company since 2019, said he is stepping down to focus on family.

The current management team will remain in place, and the company said its strategic plans are unchanged. CleanSpark also disclosed in an SEC filing that Bradford’s exit terms include monetary and bitcoin payments, accelerated equity vesting, and post-employment restrictions.
